Growing up without a father did not hinder Andra Farizki Ramdhani’s progress. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, found renewed hope through the People’s School initiative introduced by President Prabowo Subianto. The boarding school environment at SRMA 10 presented both challenges and rewards for Andra, who missed his family but found solace in the camaraderie with his friends. Despite the structured daily routine, Andra drew strength from his friendships, creating shared bonds and memorable moments with his roommates. The school’s facilities exceeded Andra’s expectations, providing a conducive learning environment that kept him engaged and focused on his studies.
Actively participating in extracurricular activities and pursuing his passion for judo, Andra remained steadfast in his ambition to become a judo athlete and continue his education at the Defense University (Unhan). With unwavering support from his mother, Andra’s dream not only reflects his personal aspirations but also honors his mother’s sacrifices and prayers for his success. Grateful for the financial support offered by People’s School, Andra emphasized the school’s role in providing equal educational opportunities for underprivileged children determined to learn.
From the classroom to the dormitory, every experience at People’s School contributes to Andra’s growth, independence, and pursuit of his dreams.
