The agency has expressed its sincerest apologies to the students, parents, schools, and all parties impacted by this incident and the unfit food found in the MBG Program. Stressing zero tolerance for negligence, BGN is focused on ensuring the health and safety of all MBG recipients remains a top priority. Coordinating with local government authorities, the agency is working to swiftly and effectively respond to the situation. Measures to address the issue include stricter partner screening, enhanced hygiene standards, improved supply chain and food quality monitoring, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on best practices and expert recommendations. BGN is dedicated to upholding food safety standards in the MBG Program and delivering its intended benefits without compromising health. With the support and vigilance of all stakeholders, the agency believes the program can continue to effectively serve the people.
