The two leaders arrived together at the academy after sharing a helicopter ride from Yogyakarta International Airport, dressed in matching white shirts as they headed towards a Maung tactical vehicle. President Prabowo took the wheel with President Macron seated beside him, showcasing their camaraderie and mutual respect. The visit was met with full military honors, including Honor Guards, Mounted Cavalry, and local students waving flags. President Prabowo personally invited Macron to observe cadet education and training at the academy, highlighting the significance of enhancing bilateral defense cooperation. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the bond between Indonesia and France, with an emphasis on defense capabilities and human resource development in the military sector.
