Jakarta — Political analyst Ujang Komaruddin sees a promising start in the transition period as President-elect Prabowo Subianto prepares to assume office on October 20, 2024. Ujang believes that Prabowo’s leadership has already garnered broad support from various groups, reflected in the latest Indikator Politik survey, which shows that 83.4% of the public has confidence in Prabowo’s upcoming administration.
“I’ve always believed that Prabowo’s leadership would gain public support. This is evident in the survey, where public confidence in Prabowo’s government reaches 83.4%. This is a good, beautiful, and positive start, showing that the Indonesian people trust Prabowo to lead the country toward a better future over the next five years,” Ujang told reporters on Monday (October 7).
According to Indikator data, 84.3% of respondents feel confident or highly confident that Prabowo will improve Indonesia compared to the current administration.
Ujang points to several factors behind this strong public belief, including Prabowo’s sincerity and determination to elevate Indonesia, both domestically and internationally.
“Prabowo’s sincerity in building the nation, his struggle to improve the country, and his commitment to positioning Indonesia as a global player have earned the trust of the public,” Ujang explained.
He also believes that this positive momentum will smooth the path for Prabowo’s government once in office.
“Prabowo has the ability to guide Indonesia toward justice, prosperity, and improvement beyond the previous administration,” Ujang continued.
As a result, the public is confident that Prabowo will carry the future of Indonesia on his shoulders, working for the welfare of the people.
“This is an initial appreciation for Prabowo, which also strengthens his resolve to work with the people in building a just and prosperous Indonesia,” Ujang concluded. (RR)
