Jakarta – Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, congratulated Prabowo Subianto directly as the elected president in the 2024 presidential election together with Gibran Rakabuming Raka. This was conveyed during Prabowo’s visit to the NasDem Tower in Jakarta on Friday (22/3/24).
“We once again congratulate Mr. Prabowo along with Mas Gibran who have been designated as the elected president and vice president for the 2024 election results,” said Surya.
He explained that Prabowo’s visit to the NasDem headquarters was a form of friendship as their relationship has been established for quite a long time, namely for 40 years.
“This visit is a friendship visit considering the long journey in our personal relationship that has lasted for no less than 40 years,” he said.
“So it is very reasonable that I personally and of course Mr. Prabowo also want the spirit of friendship that has been built over the past 40 years to be maintained,” he added.
During the visit, Prabowo stated that he came to express his direct gratitude to Surya. Previously, Surya had congratulated Prabowo-Gibran’s victory shortly after the General Election Commission (KPU) announced the results of the 2024 presidential election.
“Today I came to the NasDem family to express my appreciation and gratitude for the congratulations conveyed by the Chairman of the NasDem Party,” said Prabowo.
“As soon as the General Election Commission announced the decision, appointing Prabowo Subianto as the elected president and brother Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected vice president of the 2024 presidential election, the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, immediately congratulated.
