Toyota plans to provide electric vehicle charging services for consumers during the 2024 Eid al-Fitr holiday. There will be 108 charging stations available for Toyota electric vehicle users at official dealerships and some located in public areas.
According to Henry Tanoto, Vice President of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), the phenomenon of Eid al-Fitr holiday travel this year is expected to attract users of electrified vehicles. He mentioned that electric battery vehicles are usually used in cities, but they can also be used for long-distance travel like going home for the holidays.
The 108 charging stations are located in Java and Sumatra, and Henry advised Toyota electric battery vehicle owners planning to travel for Eid al-Fitr to carefully consider the charging stations and allocate time for the journey and charging.
