President Prabowo Subianto attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on Thursday. The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, saw President Prabowo visiting various exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” booth from Padjadjaran University. This booth showcased innovative research-based technologies like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, President Prabowo expressed his respect and appreciation to Professor Brian Yuliarto, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, as well as other distinguished guests in attendance. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” aims to drive a national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation. The convention is part of the government’s strategy to pave the way for Golden Indonesia 2045.
KSTI 2025 featured exhibitions from eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization (including artificial intelligence and semiconductors), downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. This convention serves as a catalyst for advancing Indonesia’s economic growth and equity.
