The budget breakdown includes funding for programs like Indonesia Pintar and scholarships for underprivileged students. Prabowo also emphasized strengthening education through initiatives like People’s Schools and Garuda Excellence Schools to provide quality education to all children. The government targets the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education to award scholarships to 4,000 students in 2026, with a focus on nurturing a competitive and innovative generation. Finally, Prabowo stressed the importance of advancing Indonesia’s capabilities in STEM fields to keep up with global developments.
