Sidoarjo — East Java gubernatorial candidate Khofifah Indar Parawansa extended her birthday wishes to President-elect Prabowo Subianto, who turned a year older on October 17, 2024. Khofifah shared her greetings during a visit to PT Surya Pratista Hutama (Suprama), a noodle factory in Sidoarjo, on Thursday (October 17).
Khofifah invited the factory workers to join her in celebrating Prabowo’s special day. “Today is President-elect Pak Prabowo’s birthday. Let’s give him a round of applause,” she said, addressing the workers.
She then led a collective prayer, wishing Prabowo good health and strength as he prepares to lead the nation.
“May he be blessed with health, long life, strength, and the ability to lead this nation well. Al-Fatihah,” Khofifah said. The workers responded to the prayer with a unified “amen.”
Khofifah also shared her birthday greetings and support for Prabowo through her Instagram account, @khofifah.ip, on the same day. She posted a photo of Prabowo, expressing her prayers and well wishes for his success as Indonesia’s next president.
“Wishing a happy birthday to General TNI (HOR) Purn. H. Prabowo Subianto, President-elect for 2024-2029. May he live a long life, stay healthy, and be blessed with strength and success in continuing the leadership of this country. We in East Java are ready to support you for a more advanced and prosperous Indonesia,” Khofifah wrote.
